I bought this super cute and awesome blank book a while back at Wordsworth Books and I just started really using it and enjoying it for note-taking. I used it to take notes on Anne Lamott’s Bird by Bird, Jen Sincero’s You Are a Badass, and Natalie Goldberg’s Writing Down the Bones (all three super-fantastic books you should read immediately!). This journal used to be sold online at Chronicle Books but now they sell a new Julia Rothman eco journal that is nautical-themed, instead.
From Chronicle Books, not only did I spy a million amazing gifts for friends, family, and self!! but I also discovered their blog, which includes this entry on how to get published! What a sweet day, right?!
Ciao for now my darlings.
Welcome to Banned Books Week here in Little Rock, AR. I thought it’d be fun to compile a collage for great banned books I’ve read and another for great banned books I haven’t gotten around to reading yet! Since Banned Books Week has been celebrated nationwide for 34 years (since 1982), I decided I’d showcase 17 books for each of my 2 categories. Hope your week is fantastic!
Here are a few I have had the great pleasure to have read:
And here are 17 more I’m embarrassed to admit I haven’t read yet, but definitely want to!
